Chewy Brownies

1 1/2 all purpose flour
2 cups white sugar (not recommending the dark or light brown sugar- just white)
1/2 cup cocoa
1 cup pine nuts ( walnuts, pecan or any choice will do)
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup veg. Oil ( or 1 cup + 1tbsp. butter unsalted – melted)
2 tbsp. pancake syrup lite (or 1 tbsp. honey)
4 eggs ( or 4 tsp. cornflour + 1 cup water)

Lightly grease a 9×13 baking pan
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
Combine: sugar,flour,cocoa,salt& baking powder in a medium bowl
In another bowl, mix oil,eggs,syrup and vanilla
Pour in the wet mixture into the dry mixture
Blend well, then add in the pine nuts

Spread evenly into the baking pan
Bake for 15 – 20 mins. Or may stick in a toothpick (if it comes out clean) to check its readiness.

1/4 cup confectioner sugar ( or 1/4 white sugar + 2 tbsp. corn flour)
4-6 tbsp. water – just enough add to make a light pasty texture
* mix well until light, pasty texture is made
As soon as the baking is done, spread evenly on top of the baked brownies.
Cool to serve.
